DIY Christmas Gift Basket Ideas

It is not easy to select the Christmas gift that will please to everyone: we never know if the gift will be appreciated by its recipient. How many times have you received a gift that is never emerged out of the cupboard in which you putted it?

I myself received hundreds of gifts that I do not use, especially at Christmas Time. And I do not mention the decorative objects, that I do not know what to do with because they do not match the decoration of my house or simply because I have no place to put them on.

Raising the Next Generation

It is the most important job we will do in our life.  Isn’t it about time that we put as much energy into raising our children as we do keeping up with the Jones’s?

Is there any work harder, more satisfying, aggravating, bewildering and important than raising kids? I think not. It’s a huge, long-term, scary project, and worth thinking about a good deal. I read somewhere that we only prepare for what we think is important, so let’s prepare for this most important endeavor. Even if you’re already in the middle of the project, there are still many things you can do to help your kids grow up well, and here are some of them.

The Face of Christmas 2008 - Elmo Live

Every year there is at least one toy the makes the headlines at
Christmas because parents have been fighting over it in high street
stores. These toy shortages occur because the companies that make them
don’t want to over estimate the popularity of a product and produce too
many that don’t sell, leaving them with a lot of unwanted stock and a
large bill from production costs. Last year it was the Nintendo Wii.
Other memorable toy shortages have been Teletubbies, Furbees,
Tamagotchi and Tickle Me Elmo. This Year has a large amount of spoken word recorded into him. With it he tells stories, makes jokes, sings songs and plays games. All this is done while he gets in and out of his seat, crosses and uncrosses his legs, dances and waves his arms around. The wide variety of movements and speech gives Elmo Live a very believable personality. It’s easy to forget he is actually a robot. Elmo could entertain the children for hours.
