Tarnation - A Review

What do creative genius and madness have in common? After viewing Jonathan Caouttes autobiographical documentary Tarnation, I would have to answer that they are quite possibly one in the same.

Using I Movie software on his computer, Caoutte interlaced super 8 footage, vhs videotape, photographs, answering machine messages and music to create a film that tells the story of his tumultuous life, spanning over 20 heartbreaking years.

Be Who You Are With Fairy Tattoos

Today, one of the most common body accessories that differentiate the “cool” woman from the plain Janes are the cute little tattoos that she proudly wears on her skin.

Create You Own Tales At A Hotel In Canterbury

In a timeless classic, Theseus, the duke of Athens, imprisoned the knights, Arcite and Palamon. Though the two were bossom friends, they despised each other after they saw the lovely Emily, the sister of a queen. After getting out of prison, Arcite and Palamon vied for the heart of Emily, almost killing each other in the process. Theseus then planned a tournament to determine who would win Emily. Both knights hoped for victory, but Emily hoped that only the man who truly loved her would win. Arcite won first place in the tournament, but then died before marrying Emily. So Palamon wed her. This poem of chivalry and moral dilemmas is one of the many that you could enjoy while staying in a hotel in Canterbury.

Is There Truth In The History They Teach?

One interesting thing about running a Think Tank is you get to meet really smart folks from all walks of life and industries. Often, they get into debates and cite history, but does anyone know the true history of the human experience, or do we just know glimpses and probabilities that we attempt to define as absolutes?

Is there really any truth in the history we are taught - how does the teacher know, what cannot be known without having been there? Sure there are clues to the whole thing, but how can you know, how can you even get close to the truth? In intellectual debates often someone argues a point of history, both in the debate probably have ample proof to back them up, books, manuscripts, scrolls, etc.

Tattoo Safety 101

The process involves needles tattoo that move at great speed to penetrate the layers of the skin. The needles break in the skin, and to inject ink points in the third layer, creating the image of the tattoo design in the skin. Whenever you get a tattoo, common sense and a bit of security are always the most important.

While obtaining a tattoo, most people will be afraid of the virus known as HIV, which can lead to the dreaded AIDS virus. Although many fear HIV, it is one of many viruses that may result from tattoos. Staph, syphilis, tuberculosis, hepatitis and are all but a small number of other diseases that may result from tattoos. All it takes is a dirty needle or unhealthy and you could wind up contracting a deadly virus listed above.
