Baseballs - Choosing A Baseball Brand

Usually made of high quality leather, the baseball has an inner core, an outer shell to cover it, and outer stitching. The inner core is small like a pill and it’s made of rubber, cork, or any material similar to those. The rubber shell is wound around the inner core, enclosing it tightly in 3 layers of yarn and then with a winding of cotton or polyester yarn. To keep the ball intact, a core is applied in the form of a finishing yarn and then it is dipped in latex cement, which provides a surface to make the cover stick to the core during sewing.

Week 2 Nfl Power Rankings (from An Amateur)

As week two of the NFL came and went, one thing is certain: anything can happen. The Texans are dominating, Green Bay looks like they did in the mid 1990’s, and Cleveland scored 51 points….in a single game. This craziness makes the power rankings a bit more challenging, but what the heck: we’ll do them anyway.

Week Two:

1. New England Patriots (2-0) (Previous rank: 2): Cheating scandal aside, there’s no arguing that the Pats looked like champs against a far outplayed Chargers team. Not only was their offense unstoppable, but their defense held LaDainian Tomlinson to 43 rushing yards. New England is the team to beat. These guys are hungry.

Does Your Mat Attitude Suck?

Let’s say that you were taking a test and there was a question that asked you to rate your mat attitude on a scale from 1 to 5. What score would you give yourself? A score of 5 would mean that you’re so tough that Randy Couture wouldn’t want to train with you. And a score of 1 would mean that you sit in the parking lot before class, thinking of all the different ways you’ll probably get your butt kicked in during the training session!
