Turkey - 3 Reasons Of Many To Visit Soon

For the first time since the 1960’s, Spain is no longer the No 1 destination for UK holidaymakers. This accolade is now claimed by Turkey, after many years of work by the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office to increase the visibility of the destination. Turkish Culture and Tourism campaigns extol not only the usual virtues of good beaches and excellent climate - but also the extraordinary cultural side of the country.

Diving in Burma - What is the Real Truth?

Wherever you go you will be spending large sums of money getting there, and does a few hours spent searching for information make sense? Of course. So here is my opinion of scuba diving in Burma, accurate and correct as of the 30 August 2008.

Burma has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons, with the sights of violent put-downs of peaceful protest and victims of Cyclone Naga being refused help by their own government placed highly on news channels world wide. For this reason, scuba diving travel to the country is not exactly at the top of most divers’ agendas. But should it be?

Visit Those Exotic Beaches With No Jetlag At All

People who are used to traveling frequently, experience jetlag a lot. Sometimes even athletes traveling far and wide to other countries for participating in various tournaments, hold the jetlags responsible for their poor performance. Even businessmen traveling for long find jetlags as affecting their work. Thus we see jetlags affect the entirety of a person.

Basically jetlag is the condition that a human body experiences due to disorientation, after a long travel across one or several time zones. Jetlags happen usually when a person crosses the time zones and his daily schedule receives a sudden jolt. His internal body-clock then finds it difficult to adjust with the new ways and thus gets easily exhausted. Common symptoms are sleeplessness and tiredness, headaches and lack of concentration.

Amatola Hike - Eastern Cape - One Of The Most Scenic Mountain Areas In Southern Africa

The Eastern Cape is the second largest of South Africa’s nine provinces, the diverse Eastern Cape landscape ranges from the dry desolate Great Karoo to the steamy forests of the Wild Coast and the Keiskamma Valley. The area also embraces the fertile Langkloof, renowned for its rich apple harvests, and is cradled by the mountainous southern Drakensberg.

Please see our website: http://www.southafricanhikingtours.co.za

Here, widespread hills are juxtaposed with sandy beaches; here small-town South Africa comes to greet you – gently offering hospitality and friendship and asking for nothing in return. This is where the `big seven’ roam, and where the tropical forests share their space with abundant birdlife and nature at its most generous.

Get Off Your Bum With Adventure Travel

Of late, regular travel has become predictable and boring. With falling airfares and the resulting increase of package tours becoming the most common way of vacationing, traveling has become uninspiring and monotonous.

That feeling of adventure that traveling is supposed to evoke has become jaded. This is what has given rise to a new form of travel these days – adventure travel! Adventure travel is not only popular with the adrenaline filled youth, but is increasingly being taken up by people of older generations too, because of greater fitness, health, leisure time and economic prosperity.

Seasons Are Changing

Fall is upon us. You can feel the briskness in the air. You can see different colored leaves in the trees. As you walk down the sidewalk you can hear the crunch of the fallen leaves under your feet. It’s deer hunting season. Deer are scampering so they don’t get shot by hunters. You can go visit an apple orchard to buy donuts, apple cider and apples. Children are back to school giving their parents a needed break. Time to do the Christmas shopping before it snows. The stores will get busy soon. So much to do.
