Hey all my fit and wanting to be fit Apartmentites! This is Demarcus and I am here to fill you in on a few fitness tips around your apartment. I will be adding my fitness and health “two cents” in every so often, so without further ado…let’s rock.

The summer heat is crankin’ up as we get deeper and deeper into the warm months. Of course we all still want to be able to hit the beach in our swimsuits with pride, so we still need to be hitting the gym.

Bowflex 50 Dollar Alternative Known As Bodylastics

The Bowflex is a popular home gym workout system that incorporates polymer rods for resistance that emulates the typical weights and pulleys used in weight machines. It consists of on fairly large system that includes a bench as well as leg and arm levers. It comes in a much smaller package than the typical home gym, considering that only one unit needs to be purchased as opposed to several different machines. However, the Bowflex carries a high price tag. In fact the home gym system can cost up to 2,000 dollars. MUSICAL EXERCISES -

Put on your favorite music and do some yoga! No need for slow, elevator music. Move to your favorite beat. Or pop on the headphones or earphones and grab your MP3 or cassette player or handheld PC and bike to a nearby park. Too cold or rainy? Then head to a mall or other enclosed area where you can walk. Caution: make sure you are alert while listening to music with headphones or earphones.

How The Foam Roller Workout Helped Me Get My Life Back

It started with tightness in my hip flexors that no amount of stretching could relieve. I limited my running and cardio workouts, did more yoga, took more rest days and still, I couldn’t find relief from this darned tightness.

Fast-forward two months. Now, my lower back was talking to me; stiff in the mornings and taking it’s good old’ time loosening up.
