Customer Satisfaction Yes, But Sometimes You Just Have To Fire One!

I absolutely believe and teach that a totally satisfied customer is one of a salesperson’s most valuable assets. Everything possible and reasonable must be done to create that satisfaction with each and every prospect you serve. I was taught from the very beginning of my selling career that “the customer is always right”. It was the buzz phrase of progressive business created by the advertising industry. I believed it, but the truth is, the statement is pure nonsense. Let me explain.

There are four primary reasons a good sales person, who is producing at high-levels at a company, will choose to leave that company. Surprisingly, the top reasons are not about money.

3. Lack of a defined or desirable career path and future

$1 For Your Thoughts - Inflation At A Think Tank

We have all heard the saying; “A Penny for Your Thoughts.” Yet we also suspect that you get what you pay for and indeed a penny will not buy you much these days. In fact, there is serious consideration going on to ditch the penny all together, of course if they do, it will cause sellers to round up and that means inflation of about 4.9% as everyone rounds up to the nearest five cents. Is America ready for inflation, well apparently the Federal Reserve is quite and some say overly concerned about it.
