Getting Article Writing Ideas
I’ve been writing for over 30 years and when I tell people this, they ask me how I keep coming up with new ideas for articles. Well, I have a few secrets and I’m going to share them with you in this article. Of course you might be a little disillusioned when you find out that I’m not really all that smart. The truth is, by following these few tips, anybody can crank out hundreds, if not thousands of articles in record time. So keep reading and I will share my top secrets for spitting out articles like machine gun fire.
The first thing I do to get article writing ideas is go to the search engines and see what’s out there already depending on what topic it is that I want to write on. Most likely, if it’s something that you’re interested in writing about, somebody else has already written about it. Without even looking at the content of the articles, all you have to do is look at the titles and these alone should give you plenty of ideas for an article on that particular topic, especially if it’s something you already know a little about. Subjects can trigger tons of ideas just by looking for them.
The second thing I do when I want to write an article is to look at the actual products that I am selling for that niche. Most products cover a number of areas. For example, let’s say you have a book
The third thing I do, and this is where I get most of my ideas, is hit the forums. There are forums for just about every topic out there. At these forums, people ask a lot of questions. Just by looking at the questions, without even reading the post, you’ll probably come up with an idea for an article. I personally come up with five or six articles a day just from going to the various forums.
By simply following the above three tips, you should have no trouble coming up with killer article ideas on a consistent basis.
